The New Queen of Sheba

AlBahie Auction House is honored to host a unique cultural event that brings together the worlds of art, literature, and heritage through the lens of Amal Al-Jubouri, a renowned Iraqi poet, writer, and cultural ambassador.

This special event will feature an exhibition of artworks from Amal Al-Jubouri’s private collection, a treasure trove of rare and significant pieces by acclaimed Iraqi and international artists. Highlights include works by Adonis, Nobel Prize laureate Günter Grass, George Bahgoury, Sattar Luqman, Rakan Dabdob, Kassim Hassan, and many more.
Each artwork is imbued with personal connections, some created by artists who were close friends of Al-Jubouri.

The exhibition, running from January 8 to 18, 2025, will offer visitors a chance to explore the depth and diversity of the collection. A carefully selected portion of these artworks will also be featured in a live auction, providing collectors a rare opportunity to acquire pieces of cultural and artistic significance.
