Description:

An exquisite 19th-century English walking cane featuring an ivory handle in the form of a globe. The globe opens up to reveal a compass inside, with black stained engravings of the world, naming the continents and several countries. The shaft is made of hardwood, and the pommel is a beautifully carved bone globe. The stick is fitted with a brass ferrule and is a fine example of a terrestrial globe and sundial cane, complete with a Roman scale. The piece also includes a CITES certificate.
